So you think I should go with a smaller sprocket and a 530 chain and that should solve my problem? Is it the front or the rear sprocket that I should change?
I want to get a chain with a master link, where can I get one of these? Thanks!

will it solve your problem? not sure without pics..i changed the rear sprocket to a 43 and LRT can get you everything you need at great prices...

what ever it is you do, just make sure there is enough room that it is not going to rub a hole in the tank. Chains bounce and move around as you ride, and
they do it even more when they strech out.....so just keep that in mind.

O.K. my front sprocket is a 15 tooth and my rear is a 41 tooth, what size's should I go to, is a 43 rear sprocket smaller thena 41, what about the front
should I get a smaller front one too? Now, I should get a 530 chain, how do I determine the length I need?

thru 6 used a front sprocket with 18 teeth and a rear with 48 teeth, I take it these are SMALLER sprockets, should I go with these sizes.

I dare say....if YOU have a 15 front...and a 41? rear...you already have the smallest sprockets you could end up with..(within reason)..
gonna have to do something about that oil tank...is it real nice chrome? if not, perhaps you could cut a chain slot in it? when in doubt..knock`um out...H.C.C.M.F LOCAL 6978 Flint Michigan..3rd most dangerous city in the USA..come back and visit us..sorry we "missed" you the first time..LOL |

My oil tank allready has a chain slot in it, what I noticed is that the 630 chain runs real close to the sides, I thought I could get a 530 which is a narrower
chain which would be better, then I thought if I got a smaller rear sprocket it would bring the chain down a bit so I wouldn't have the problem of the
chain clanking the top of the chain slot. As Spoom stated I should go with a 18/45 with the 530 and that should bring the chain down a bit and the 530 will be
narrower for the chain slot. Do they make an 18/45 for the cb750, I don't see it in the JCWhitney catalog only a 48 for the rear. (corret me if I am wrong)

I could be wrong..but..
I dont think the OD of a 15 tooth 630 sprocket, is going to be any larger then the OD of a 18 tooth 530 sprocket?
