DON'T UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE PAINT IT LEOPARD PRINT
I don't know... I am thinking black for a solid color, or olive drab (don't know though, that may be pushing it haha) eh, it would be neat with OD

Yellow and Orange | ||
Nick76SS wrote: In my opinion, neon yellow and neon orange would be the perfect choice for your bike!
I think your bike's color scheme looks good the way it is, in the classic 'black and gold'. However, if you want to talk about visibility and
safety, neon yellow and neon orange are about the most visible colors you can get. It would be like turning your whole bike into a giant safety vest, all you
would need is to stick some retro-reflective tape on your bike! At least this way, no cager will ever be able to use the excuse 'but I just didn't see
him'.
You could even easily paint the two colors into stripes by using some high-quality, low tack masking tape between
colors, to give your bike the same kind of pattern as a tiger or a hornet if you wanted. Just make sure to keep some black stripes in there as well.
Yellow and orange are also the color of flames as well. That is, if you wanted to try making some 'classic' looking flames like those around the flaming 'eight balls' shown on the board above. If you want to try this, just remember yellow at the hottest part of the flame, orange at the second hottest, and red (if you want to bother with it) at the edge of the flame. Orange is the most noticeable color in the spectrum, followed by red, then yellow. That's why traffic cones are orange and not (usually) red. |
