I have a guess but im not sure. I think it is a cross between the amen spring set up and a soft tail. Just my thought.

The movement of the suspension (axle) "swings" on the end of a pivot lever.
Amen axles slide up and down in a slot. Yeah well this is my hobby.........what's your excuse? |

Not much, the springs about 7 in long so i would say 3 or 4 max in.

I had a swing tail for my 73 shovel, and it looked exactly like this one except of course for the mounts.
It was the worst riding, squirrelliest, most dangerous frame I ever road. Since the "swing arms" are not connected and independent, each side moved seperately of each other. The only way I fixed mine was to put very heavy springs inside the outer springs, thus eliminating the independant movement, and really tightening up the suspension. Good luck with it. 2 bb |

Kinda of what I have heard as well. Amen Saviors get a bad rap for the same kinda shit. But mine rides just fine. So maybe your swing tail will be just fine as
well. Make sure all the hardware is good.
