hardtail question |

I am looking for a hardtail for my 76 cb750, I have heard bad and good things about various ebay and internet vendors, has anyone put a weld on hardtail on
thier cb750 that they didnt fabricate themselves? Can anyone recommend any? I am primarily a triumph guy, but recently picked up the cb with 4000 original
miles, and the wife wants it bobbed.

The problem with the ebay shit is that most of them are a rip off.

During your search for one ..
I would try to to find one that includes the back bone with it.. That way avoiding that ugly hump at the seat area .. There are a couple companies making them like that ...
Build it the way you want it ..... then learn how to ride it like you own it..

yes, the backbone is a must, I looked at a few that are fabbed up with no backbone and it just looks like a chop job in the end. Plus, I think the backbone
makes it a more percise fit, and one less point to weld.
