still on the search for bars...love the funky styles from the 70s..not sure what I want though, but I know they need to bolt to risers as I dont have holes in
my top tree for bars to bolt to...sooooo WHATCHA GOT?

if you dont find any......just use the skills and make yourself a set of laid back 6 bend pullbacks. the bars you got now only need like 4 to 6 inches of length depending on how far you want to lay back......take the bunk ones and cut away and weld and strecth em....make em not so narrow too. rechrome or powdercoat.....maybe turn the grip ends out a little so they are not so pistol grippish...... |

http://www.flickr.com/photos/10890730@N04/1321947601/ I have these, they are 1", I could get more measurements tomorrow. They have holes drilled for wiring to go through the bars. If you look close on the bottom of the bars by the holes the chrome chipped a little. Pm me if you are interested. |

thanks DT, but still not quite what im looking for...as for you222ct I had actually thought about cutting them up for that very purpose...I have always liked
the style of the spider bars but the shape is just a little off from what I want...was thinking aboutstretching the second tube about
2" so that I can run shorter risers but keep the top tube level and still reach far enough back for me to use...I actually love the pistol grip style
and the width is just right for me....the other set I just bought are great, except they are too narrow for
good control...thinking about cutting a small wedge out of the center bar so that I can spread the grips about 3" then re weld them...yeah i know the bar wont be
str8 then, but thats why they make risers that can turn. want to wait till I can put the forks back on so i can tell what I like before I cut anything up
though... I would love a set of tiller bars, but i dont think any that were made could go over this tank...and I dont have a bender. If I had a bender I
would just make my own from scratch...wish I could.
