I was thinking of running an open exhaust on my CB and wanted to know if anyone knew of the changes that might need to be made for jetting and carb
adjustments. The exhaust on it right now is aftermarket 4 into 1.

I have a 75 CB750F motor with great compression across the board and i am running stock header pipe w/out the muffler. SOUNDS SICK AS SH#T. I have it wraped with Copper-tec heat wrap and am running V-Stacks. My main jets are drilled out at 125. I would say it might be running a TAD rich but not bad at all. As most people will say though each engine is its own, meaning to 75 750 with all the same stuff on could be completely different. I messed around with 3 different sizes and felt this was my best decission. The ASS DYNO really liked these jets. FRONT EXHAUST SIDENOTE if you are gonna run OPEN exhaust look into wrapping them, it made a MAJOR difference on mine. cheapchop

im running 4 into 2 (or 2-2into 1) with straight pipes with fishtales, 120 jets open air breadbox filter and definately no mufflers.....sound great, runs
great...now if could just get it to stop!

Sorry man I hate to say this, nice bike and all but its not quite a SOHC. Slicks should be able to help you with your jetting as it would be different on a
DOHC. Like I said NICE bike!

Hey thanks bro I like it better than the Mustang that i had on it. From what i can gather it is an ULTIMA 4.2g Softail tank with aircraft style cap. Got it for a STEAL offa ebay. TURBO not sure which gauges but the tach and speedo came from ebay for like $40 shipped the oil PRESSURE came offa ebay $20 and the oil TEMP came offa ebay $20. The TEMP is just an automobile temp gauge. cheapchop
