For those just getting into the mix or those still unfamiliar with protocol who want to sell something, here's a few tips that will help avoid hard feelings with others.
This forum is not eBay or Craig's List. There is a place for that but here is where members sell and trade things to/with each other with some expectation of courtesy and respect. When something goes up for sale, folks here will post in line, and they respect who is in line before and after them. If simply getting the best buck, highest offer, or fastest sale is the objective then eBay or Craig's List is a better place to take the sale. It only causes trouble here.
E-mailing out of order, making under the counter offers, or topping another member is no different than butting in line and although it may get that deal, it also costs friendships, trust, and respect which is what these forums are about. What it boils down to is First Come, First Served, plain and simple.
If you're selling something and someone feels the need to bypass others please ask them to post placing their name in line where others are patiently waiting.
Posting links to pics goes a long way. If you have trouble simply ask for help posting links to them and any number of folks here will help. It's not that we don't trust each other. Most of us simply like seeing what we're buying, that's all, and there's nothing wrong with that. Bear in mind, if someone asks for pics it pretty much means they've put their name in line.
Mods/Admins: If you feel this is inappropriate feel free to delete the post, no hard feelings here. In the wrong place, please move it. I felt someone should pipe up and say something. I know I've been back doored on a few deals, and it didn't set well with me.
