Sorta maybe in the market for a cheap stocker within driving distance of central Kentucky. Not looking for anything fancy, just titled, not frozen and the cheaper the better.

Got a real clean '78 about 40mi west of Cincinnati. About 2 hrs from Lexington, KY.
Asking $1000. That may not fit the "cheaper the better" you were thinking of though. H.C.C.M.F. |

I had a feeling. When I saw you posted "sold my bikes". I knew it was only a matter of time and voila! get the itch to have one again. Cheap donor to
start the next project. It's something in the water we drink.
"In the wind, with my mind on my money and my money on my mind"...now I just gotta get some.

LOL. Actually, I'm kinda project poor. I have an Ironhead project that's about a month or two away from completion and another basket ironhead that I
need to start some day. I also have about 85% of a 750 Savior project. I just picked up a supposedly running '84 650 Nighthawk (just needs a battery) for
a commuter so technically, I don't guess I can say I'm entirely bikeless.
The purpose of the stocker is that I have two magnetos that I've never tested and I'm planning to build one or two from scratch. I also have had a set of Mikuni Solex carbs setting around for ever that I'd like to mess around with and see if I can get to run streetably. So basically just a guinea pig. |
