Some rims are only designed to take say 35 psi, some are rated higher. If it is a car rim it would be rated lower and if you are going to put a trailer tire, depending on the load range and amount of air it takes it could hold say 80psi. If you put them two together it could be bad. Generally you won't find a combo like that, but say a steel wheel for a mid 90s chevy pickup that is steel, if I remember right, they are rated for 41psi, most 10 ply pickup tires can handle 80 psi so you wouldn't want to run them together. It does happen though.

Hey cam, you should be fine. Whats wrong with the tires made in Mexico? just curious. Where are towmasters made, I have heard they are good also. What I was getting at by watching what the wheel is rated at, is I would hate to see someone put a trailer only tire rated at 100 psi on a car rim and have it go BOOM!
