Donner pass ( A beautiful place to visit,but not so good to get stuck in the snow ) is about 65 miles up the hill (east) from Auburn,and about 35 miles west of Reno.......................

Like I've said before.. Spidey, MsWaters and Sas know what they're doing..

Remember .. these meets aren't all about making money .. its more like....getting as many of together and know each other as we can .. Theres a lot to be said for holding the prizes to be auctioned, raffled, or whatever at the event itself .. It is a major tool in prompting people to attend .. and thats what these meets are all about ....

Personally .. I'm glad to see these run a bit...

jleather's right - there's a difference between the stuff that's up for raffle and up for auction.

the auction stuff is only open to attendees, the raffle stuff is open to all hc.com members - i recommend we keep this the same for both the wchcm and the whcm.

i recommend high end stuff that's donated in advance be raffled off (or at least 3 high-ticket items like at the whcm), and the rest be auctioned off the night of the event...

Might just be me thinkin' this one, but for the WHCM we sell tix to anyone for the raffle stuff. That raises more money fer the site, which is the point ain't it? Sellin' only to those coming to the WCHCM reduces the sales, and therefore the money to support the site.

No ADVANCE ticket sales.
We ARE going to have an raffle for sure for the Hondachopper heads ONLY that are AT THE WCHCM. You GOTTA BE THERE TO WIN. Tickets will be sold starting when we get there. Prizes will be announced and posted when you show up as we are still collecting a lot of STUFF.

Thanks to Wonderful people like Ken of Cyclexchange and others to be announced as STUFF comes in.
